Board of Education Meetings Public notice of Board of Education meetings and agendas are published on BoardDocs at least 48 hours prior to the meeting being called to order. Following each board meeting, Board Briefs, which is a summary of the meeting, is sent to the District 113 community. Board of Education Meeting Start Time Board of Education meetings are called to order at 6 p.m. and immediately adjourned to Closed Session. The board reconvenes the Open Session at approximately 7 p.m. Public Participation at Board of Education Meetings During each open meeting of the Board of Education, members of the public may comment on or ask questions to the board during Public Comments. Public Comments are subject to procedures outlined in Policy 2-230 (Public Participation at School Board Meetings and Petitions to the Board).
